We went here with family. The set up is amazing. It was perfect for all of us. The 20 somethings stayed in the 2nd cabin which was great since they stay up later than us old folks. We played pool & foosball, toured the Rain Forest and had a great family night with board games and music on our 2nd night. The cabins are very inviting and comfortable, the beds make it hard to get up in the morning. My only regret is that we could not stay longer!

This is a beautiful home. It was a perfect place for our visit with our son and his family. The property is well-designed to allow for privacy as well as space to be together. The main house has a lot of open space for the kitchen, dining area, and living room, as well as a bathroom for each of the three bedrooms, and the "man cave" provides additional living space, although it's not quite as luxurious as the main house. The grounds are lovely, with blueberry bushes and apple trees in the front yard and a path down to the fire pit and the Sol Duc River. The hot tub is great for relaxing after a long hike. You'll need to keep a close eye on children because of the steep path down to the river. The owners are welcoming and respond quickly to any questions but are not intrusive. There are a few quirks (e.g., the water pressure in the kitchen sink is low, although it's better in the bathrooms). Overall, this place is a wonderful spot for one or more couples or a family. If you're looking for a little bit of luxury while you're visiting the Olympic Peninsula, this is the place for you. We would happily return.

We chose this property based on the amount of people we had to house. The pictures of the property and the accommodations look to fit our needs and then some. Traveling on the road and staying in hotels can get redundant. Staying here made it feel relaxing at night. There were fun activities for us to do and we took advantage of them all. Privacy was also nice...walking down the path to the Sol Duc River to watch nature was therapeutic. Supplies, Furniture and appliances were all in excellent condition and were abundant in supply.

The Sol Duc River Log Cabin provided the perfect balance of luxurious, cozy comfort and wonderful daytime excursions. The hiking and fishing in this area are world class. I highly recommend drift boat fishing with a guide, a hike at Second Beach and the Hoh Rain Forest and spending some time in Forks to visit the Chamber's Visitor Center. Everyone is so nice! We also loved clam digging! The cabins were so peaceful and serene with all the modern comforts. The river view is breathtaking and so relaxing! A huge thanks to the owners who took care of every detail and were so prompt in answering our questions and helping us make the trip so memorable. This is definitely a five-star experience!
